questionable's Journals on Buzznet

I haven't updated this part in awhile so i think its time i did. I'm Tizzy. Its a nickname. I swim and i play piano and trombone. I tend to be kind of crazy and random. I like to be overly sarcastic. Photography has really become a huge hobby of mine. Its opened my mind to seeing the world differently. I hope to have it as a side job some day. I've really changed since last year. I'm 16 now and i have my permit. I'm happy. Thats really all you need to know.

So I've had a LOT of things going on these last few day.

To recap my Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for you I had robotics. I do FIRST robotics (FRC league) Its a huge! program. (http://www.usfirst.org/) There are teams from not only all across the US but from all over the world. Every year we get a game and have to design a robot to the game. This years game can be seen here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnGfbGzEFrM). This years game is called Lunacy. I should also mention that the team I am part of is called the Firebirds team 433. Here is a link to our website that we put up this year. I did the header :) (http://web.me.com/msjafirebirds/Firebirds_433/Home.html)

Now that I've done that little summary I'll tell you about the 3 days. The first day is practice. I wanted to be first driver SOO bad! I practiced in the first round. I sorta had odds against me. I was the only team on my alliance and had two other robots coming after me. I also had 3 human players targeted on me. Also, before the match we were A. fixing the robot B. had to go get a sticker that said we could have robot on the field and C. change the battery about 15 seconds BEFORE the match started. So yeah and then i was like stressed out and i couldnt hear the robots wheels if they were spinning or not. I did so badly i was like grrr. The other girl did better. Which bugged me because she can kind of get an attitude especially towards one of the teams. But its all okay.

The second day i found out my one friend was going there so i found him. Turns out his school wants to start a robotics team. So i got him and his friend and one of the teachers in charge to come talk to our teams mentors. I did something important!!!! And we may help them out for starting their team. :D! yeah me! The matches on this day were official by the way and counted. We won 3 and lost 3. We had a few glitches with the robot but everything was fine.

Finally. The last day. The first half of the day is some final matches and then after lunch was finals. We had a skybox where we were and had girl scouts come and look at things and play with mini robots. This was all in hopes of getting Chairmans. So lunch time they chose alliances. We didnt make it :/ We were bummed. Then at around 2 there was a team meeting. We welcomed DEAN KAMEN! into the building!! Now you may not know who he is. He is like the god of FIRST. He is cofounder. He also created the segway. (those people mover things). I got a pair of safety goggles signed :) So then we hung around for awards. We didn't get any of the first ones. Finally they got to chairmans.... We are got quiet. We tensed and held hands. They began their speech. When they give out awards they give hints as to who has wont he award. They started saying stuff and we start silently squealing they say things that are about us! Finally they say FIREBIRDS TEAM 433!! we burst out SCREAMING! We all run down the the field and get out medal and are so ECSTATIC! Not only is this FIRST's most prestigious award. Its also our ticket to nationals in Atlanta! Last year we won a different award and were able to go. FIRST is just amazing. Its better than any sporting event!

p.s. this was a video our one mentor took of them announcing chairmans enjoy! :D (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCMA1wZOFOU)

I think this is my rant about some of the best 3 days. My team also held a team social on Friday night. I met some really cool people this year. Unfortunately 2 out of 3 the cool people are seniors this year and i wont see them next year :/

Also on Thursday night i went and saw La Salle's show How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Its one of my FAVORITE shows. My cousins school did it a few years ago and i forced my music class to watch the movie last year haha. The show was amazing and i loved seeing my friends in it. I also went Saturday night.

Soooo some more little news. I have a boyfriend now :) as of last Monday. I havent told my parents but oh well. He also did stage crew for the show so thats how i got to see him this weekend haha. So yeah my life is pretty exciting and crazyyyy right now.

Talk to you all soon!!

I saw the greatest thing when i logged onto buzznet today... this

I was just scanning the home page and was like wait... i know that picture *reads* *heart stops* NO!!! *doesnt believe* I went into this huge spazz and imed all my friends (i acutally even called one XD) I read my write up which was really nice and all the lovely comments people had left :-D it totally made my day. Buzznet means sooo much to me these days. I post my photos on my facebook too but my friends there just dont comment the way you guys do. I remember when i first started with buzznet i think it was maybe 7th (or 8th) grade when my friend found it. We would come on and get our pop culture news. My old computer was really slow and it was a bitch to come on but then i got my new laptop! I began coming on almost everyday then and made myself an account. That was at the end of 8th grade. Then at christmas that year i finally got my own digital camera and got down to business. Buzznet has made my photography grow SO much. I look for small things ,lighting, angles, and textures these days in everything around me. I remember when i got my first featured photo i about died happy (i have a screen shot from that too haha) see!

It means so much to me to see people appreciating my pictures. I can't tell you guys enough. I love coming online and having 4 new notes 3 new comments a friend request and maybe a message. I let out an uggg because i have to go through it all but i enjoy every moment of it.

So once again...

THANK YOU ALL!!

p.s. this journal was written because 1. i had so much to say and 2. my homework kept me from taking a witty OG photo today (tomorrow my friends i try to take one!)

Lets do some laundry

This summer i got my first job. (thanks to my best friend) Her sisters worked at this dry cleaners and are now going to collage. THey were looking for some new people so i got a spot. I do counter work which involves me taking people clothes, giving them back, and putting hangers away (and the similar). Its a pretty easy job but some of it is SO annoying. Drop offs will kill me especially laundry shirts. I always have issues checking to make sure its the right fabric and stuff. So this is why i am writing this journal. I've decided to share my dry cleaner stories with all of you. Ill tell you a few right now (i've only work about 6 or 7 days)

One day this lady came in. She has a skinny lady who was very brand name. She had her Abercrombie and Hollister clothes and her little hands free set in her ear. At this point i was in training and this other girl Katie was helping me. The lady put a pair of pants down and then she pointed to the crotch and said that she had gotten some *cough* blood on her pants and was hoping we could get it. Let me say it was just plain awkward to me. Its like thank you for telling me about your menstrual cycle.

Another story i have is another one from when i was in training. This time Debbie was helping me. This lady came in with a pair of navy blue pants. She told us that there were some white spots on the pants from the last time and she pointed them out. She then went on to tell us how she thought maybe it was just powdered sugar or something but it didn't brush off. Next she asked us if we though crack would do this to the pants. YES you read that right. She asked if WE! two teenagers knew if CRACK did that to her pants. She implied that the workers had a part in it. We (Debbie and I) were just like "umm we have no idea." So we let her get the pants redone.

Seriously some weird people come in sometimes. Its all interesting. More stories soon. :-D

My mom is really! starting to get on my case about my summer reading books. one of the most dreaded things ever (at least in my mind). Ive been wondering alot lately with people talking of schools here how everyone's works. i know the system if different in europe (i have cousin there). For me i got back to school in the beginning of September. Then i have a break at Christmas (usually a long one since ive always gone to Catholic school) then spring break/ Easter break. Then i am out for the summer around the beginning of June. How does everyone else's systems work??

So i think the orange fret on GH is just there to be evil. I have a few reasons why

1. its mocks those with small hands
2. it makes people believe that there are only 5 strings on a guitar
3. it wants to give us all carpal tunnel
4. they want us to fail songs!

any other ideas?

well... its EVIL!!
